Author's Notes: Title is taken from The Phantom of the Opera’s “All I Ask of You.” All the love to my betas for their hard work in keeping me sane and for not throwing things at me throughout this. Also, the prompt requested for ‘platonic feelings’, which I apologize for not being able to fulfil. Lastly, thanks to the seokmonsters mods for setting up this fest!

Baekhyun's grandma is sooo cool!!! I love her!! I feel like she fixed everything in Baek's life. And xiubaek are so cute <3 I got so angry when Baekhyun rejected Minseok... But than I felt so bad for Beak because of his insecurities :/ and the environment they live in is so real. I really love this story being so realistic. And I was so happy for Chanbaek that their song got popular! Baekhyung was getting closer to achieve his goal while being able to live his life the way that he wants.

I've read this three times and am just now properly forming a comment

The way you write little details in is just gorgeous. The feelings, the settings, your descriptions, the OC's that added so much flavour, its all just so good

I like that it was Minseok who confessed first as opposed to most xiubaeks where baek is *____* (though he is, just in a different way from their cliche)

and the piano teacher story was such a beautiful back drop and meaning for Baekhyun's actions and his thoughts, and Minseok's story about the army /clutches heart and pets my babiES

The opposing view on the flowers -- paper blossoms vs real petals I loved, especially when Minseok finds him

I loved that there was this calmness to the story, in between the mild angst and Baekhyun's colourful personality and the parties and just everything was so
I can't describe it the atmosphere just made me feel

I love you for writing this and I'm positively livid that it doesn't have 7000 comments

the ambiance of this fic is so relaxed and calming. i like how it's mostly about baekhyun's personal journey and him learning to let go of the past and to not to let his fears stand in the way of his happiness. he and minseok are so cute and good for each other.

baekhyun's relationship with his grandmother is so precious. you can tell how much she cherishes him.
