Round 4 of Seokmonsters is here! Thank you to all our awesome prompters and to all our amazing writers! Check out the masterlist below for some amazing Xiu stories!

Hello Everyone!
Thank you so much for participating in the 4th round of Seokmonsters! Whether as a prompter, reader, or writer, you are all important parts of Seokmonsters. We would be nothing without you.
Honestly I was really worried and skeptical about how this round would turn out. I guess you could say that Seokmonsters was in a rough patch. I started the fest 3 years ago because I hoped with all of my heart that it would inspire more Xiumin/ Minseok fics in the EXO ficdom community. I don't know if I managed that but at the very least, and most importantly, the prompts, writers, and readers, all of your enthusiasm gave birth to some of the most interesting and lovely fics (No, I'm not being biased at all XD).
This time around I wondered with the low participation what that meant for Seokmonsters or Xiu fics in general. But it's quality not quantity and looking at what we have now, I shouldn't have been so worried! These are amazing fics and you all have been really wonderful and supportive in your own ways (being more vocal about it doesn't hurt though so leave comments because WRITERS LOVE THEM)! I'm very grateful for that.
ALSO WELCOME MOD CC TO SEOKMONSTERS!! Without Mod CC, you guys would've been getting crappy posters made on paint or online editors from me. Mod CC is above and beyond. She not only made the wonderful graphics you see everywhere, she also helped out a bunch when I was having trouble posting (I'm sorry I'm terrible with deadlines and also I had interviews >___<). Having Mod CC by my side is a blessing and I'm going to keep her for as long as she lets me :D
All in all, thank you everyone for making round 4 of Seokmonsters such a wonderful event! <3 Lots of love <3

I had so much fun participating in this 4th round! Seokmonsters had always taken a special place in my heart as I had been following this fest since a long time ago as a reader, and to have the opportunity to help out Mod BB is really an honor for me. I am glad this round wrapped out wonderfully even though we were worried at first about the seemingly short period for holding a fest round. But amazingly, the writers pull through which made us eternally thankful for all the writers who participated in this round. The fics are great, I personally enjoyed all of them and they are all amazing. Another thanks for all the prompters! Thank you for filling out the sock drawers with ideas that could fuel the writers to make stories that could warm our heart. Thanks to all the commenters, to all of you who enjoyed the stories and leaving kudos to give the writers all the appreciation they deserve. This had been so much fun for me, I hope it was the same amount of enjoyment for you guys too.
And of course, for Mod BB who had amazingly handle this fest! BB is such a cool awesome person, y'all. No doubt about that! I am eternally grateful for Mod BB to give such opportunity for me, as this is actually the first time I joined onboard for moderating a fic fest. And joining a fic fest that is really dear to me since forever, the honor still feels surreal >.< I’m still very sorry for the MIA period of mine OTL.
Seriously, thank you Mod BB, I had learned a lot by helping you out. I’d love to help you out more in the future if time would let me! Lots of love for everybody <3

The writers put in a lot of effort so even if you don't like or agree with how a writer chooses to write or portray something, it is not okay to say mean things to them. If there is a fic that breaks one of our rules or makes you feel uncomfortable, please let us know so that we can have a discussion about to solve the problem.

If you wanted to be in this round, but were short on time or were nervous or any other reason, don't fret! We always have our adoption round following this and if you want to be in an official round, Round 5 will happen before year's end so you won't have to wait too long!
